Leonardo Ciampa, organist, pianist, composer, and vocal coach, has served as choral accompanist for The Cambridge Community Chorus for most of its twelve years. He also serves in that capacity for Chorus pro Musica, the Phillips Academy Cantata Choir, and the Emmanuel Children's Chorus.
Since 1989 Mr. Ciampa has been the Director of Music at the First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain, which houses a nationally renowned 1859 Hook organ, and he appears regularly with the Andover Choral Society.
Ciampa's compositions include twelve masses and a piano suite entitled "La Bedda Sicilia", a set of 24 Sicilian mazurkas. Ciampa can be heard on the widely acclaimed AFKA compact disk "No Room at the Inn" and has recently recorded "No Room at the Inn, Volume II", to be released this winter.
