Thomas Jones

Thomas Jones, baritone, has appeared with orchestras, opera companies, choral ensembles and in recital series throughout North America, Europe and the West Indies.

Solo engagements include the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Boston's Handel and Haydn Society, Vancouver Chamber Choir and Canadian Broadcast Orchestra, Phoenix Bach Choir, New York's St. Cecilia Orchestra, The Pacific Chorale and Pacific Symphony in Southern California, Louisville Bach Society, the Masterworks Chorus and Orchestra of Washington, DC, and the Philadelphia Festive Arts Orchestra.

Festival appearances include the Berkshire Choral Festival, Great Waters Music Festival, and Monadnock Music.

Mr. Jones has performed with the Boston Lyric Opera, Harrisburg Opera Company and Opera New England. He has sung with over 100 choruses throughout the U.S., and in the Boston area he has appeared with the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, Boston Civic Orchestra, Back Bay Chorale, Coro Allegro, Worcester Symphony and Masterworks Chorale.

In the summer of 2000, Mr. Jones made a concert tour of Denmark, Sweden and Norway. He was a semi-finalist in the International Bel Canto Foundation Vocal Competition and in the New York Oratorio Competition. Mr. Jones teaches voice through the Arts Office at Harvard University.
