A Spring of Liberation and Freedom

The Cambridge Community Chorus Spring 2010 Concert

Now in its 20th season, the Cambridge Community Chorus presents its second spring concert under the baton of Music Director Jamie Kirsch. The program, A Spring of Liberation and Freedom, pairs Felix Mendelssohn's cantata Die erste Walpurgisnacht, Op. 60, with Zoltán Kodály's Budavári Te Deum.

We invite you to share in this musical experience with us on Friday, May 21, 8.00 p.m., at Harvard's Sanders Theatre (45 Quincy St., Cambridge, MA).

The Chorus is accompanied by a full orchestra which includes members of "A Far Cry," a critically acclaimed local classical group that brought such verve to our 2009 Messiah.
Featured soloists: Deborah Selig, soprano; D'Anna Fortunato, mezzo-soprano; Lawrence Jones, tenor; Robert Honeysucker, baritone; and Daniel Malis, bass.

Tickets $15 ($10 students/seniors) at the door, or in advance at the Harvard Box Office: 617-496-2222 or www.boxoffice.harvard.edu.
