To celebrate the return of our full chorus to the public stage after three years, we are thrilled to present Gounod’s lyrically beautiful and uplifting Mass in honor of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music. At its first performance in May 1841, the composer Camille Saint-Saëns reported: “at first one was dazzled, then charmed, then conquered.” We invite you to join us at Kresge Auditorium, Cambridge, on December 18 at 4:00 p.m. to experience this dazzling work firsthand, along with other festive musical surprise treats!

CCC Returns to the Stage in December!

To our devoted fans, loyal audiences, generous donors:

Cambridge Community Chorus sings on!

As Autumn rolls along, with the leaves falling and crisp mornings to greet us, we begin to ready ourselves to reunite with friends and family to share our joys, thanksgivings, and hopes for the years to come.

Now in our 32nd season, CCC is back in-person, and we are so excited to reunite and share our news with you!  Not only have rehearsals moved off Zoom and out of hybrid mode, but we are so thankful to have a beautiful new rehearsal space at Faith Lutheran Church in Central Square!

More importantly, on Sunday, December 18th at 4:00pm, we are so excited to have you join us in MIT’s Kresge Auditorium for our first live concert since December 2019 for a performance of Charles Gounod’s Messe solennelle en l’honneur de Sainte-Cécile, an homage to St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music (joined by orchestra and soloists).  Keep an eye out for e-mails with save the date reminders and links for ticket purchases.

CCC was able to actively continue in our mission to keep choral arts alive, engaging our singers and wider community throughout the pandemic thanks to the dedication of our board, our members, and the continued support of chorus friends like you.  Whether it’s $25, $250, or $2,500, your gift allows us to ensure that participation in our chorus and attendance at future concerts remains accessible and affordable to all. Donations can be made online by clicking the “Donate” button or by mail to our address below.

We greatly appreciate your continued support and generosity this year and every year, and look forward to reuniting with you in song at our concert on December 18th!

From all of us, a sincere thank you for your continued support.
